Having grown up around the office, Tom is no stranger to the dealings of a taxman. Although he didn’t start working for his dad until age 16, during the years prior, he remained a staple in the office. He fondly recalls memories of sitting on his dad’s lap during meetings with clients. Aside from their similar knack for accounting, the two also share a fanaticism for the Detroit Red Wings, and an appreciation for collectibles – Tom Sr. with his stamps, and Tom II with coins, and vintage electronics.
Tom began studying accounting at Delta Community College, and now continues to do so at Saginaw Valley State University. He is Enrolled to Represent Taxpayers Before the IRS, and an Enrolled Agent by the Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service. Additionally, Tom is an active member of the Institute of Managerial Accountants (IMA), also known as the Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business.
A fulfilling accomplishment of Tom’s, he created and organized the “Stomp Out Hunger” food drive in Bay County.
He is also the proud father of a beautiful daughter, Kaitlyn, and a spunky puppy named Gypsy. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys playing soccer, baseball, travel ice hockey, fishing, hiking, and camping.
